HELMAND, Afghanistan–Up to 20 Taliban fighters were killed on Tuesday in a joint operation by Afghan National Army (ANA) and International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) troops in Greshk district of the restive southern Helmand province, officials said on Wednesday.
District chief Haji Abdul Ahad told Pajhwok Afghan News 20 insurgents were killed during the operation conducted in Qala-i-Gaz, Shourkai and in Deh Adam Khan areas of the district.
