Ever felt breathing difficult?.Then you may have been the victim of a disease which is increasing around the world—ASTHMA.
Asthma is a respiratory disease. It is often chronic but not life threatening.
Asthma is a lung condition with inflammation of breathing passages,incresed sensitivity of breathing passages to certain substances,and obstruction of airflow.
The most common characteristic of asthma is inflammation of the lining of breathing passages.An asthma attack may cause severe inflammation which can last for a few weeks.
The other characteristic of asthma is the increased sensitivity to some substances.The breathing passages become more sensitive to certain allergens and irritants,causing severe inflammation.
Obstruction of breathing passages due to tightening of muscles surrounding the airways is called bronchospasm.This causes further narrowing of breathing passages.In addition thick mucous may be produced aggravating the blockage.
Avoid dusty suroundings.
Have a living room which is well ventilated and has atleast two windows.
Keep the windows open throughout the day.
Avoid air-conditioners in rooms.
Take warm mineral water.
Practice regularly some breathing exercises.
Avoid cold.Make sure you take proper precautions that you don’t catch cold too often.
Try to take a jog and see how well you can endure your breath!.
Don’t ever forget to visit your doctor atleast once ina week.
