Amritsar Theatre week

Amritsar based Theatre group Manch-Rangmanch, has organized the eighth edition of the annual ‘National Theatre Festival’. The fest is paying a warm tribute to writer Gursharan Singh at the week- long theatrical event at the Punjab centre of dramatic Arts. At the week-long stage experience, theatre group from all over the country are active participants.

Thanks to the efforts of Manch-Rangmanch’s Keval dhaliwal, local Cultural bodies and Stage artists the fest is organized with great enthusiasm each year .

12th November: keval dhaliwal’s ‘dhamak Nagare’
13th November: Ajoka theatre,Pakistan staged a Play directed by Shahid Nadim
14th November: Aks theatre,New Delhi staged – Hum dono (directed by Suresh Bhardwaj) and Fandi( directed by Suman Vaidya)
15th November: Nora Richard theatre,Mohali –Presented a play directed by devinder daman.
16th November: Theatre Age,Chandigarh—presented the play ‘Tota kahani’-Parrot Story ( directed by Zulfikar khan)
17th November: Abhinav theatre,Ujjain— presented the play ‘Court Marshall’ (directed by Sharad Sharma)
18th November: KK Rajan & group, New Delhi – presented the play ‘Dushman-the Enemy’
19th November: KK Rajan & group,New Delhi — will present  Second show of ‘dushman’
19th November: Natrang Theatre, Jammu will stage ‘Mind Game’ (directed by Sumit Sharma)
20th November: Mushataque Kak & group will stage a Play on traditional Theatre Arts.
