DDC Srinagar suspends 4 Doctors, 1 staff nurse

Srinagar, August 31 (Scoop News) – Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar Baseer Ahmed Khan suspended four Doctors and one Staff Nurse who were found absent from duty during nocturnal inspections to the Tertiary Hospitals of the Summer capital on intervening night August 30th and 31th.
The officials suspended include four doctors of Lal-Ded Hospital and the staff nurse of Bones and Joint Hospital Barzulla. He also called explanation to the Medical Superintendents of Bones and Joints Hospital Barzulla, LD Hospital and SMHS Hospital for not displaying roaster sheet of Doctors and paramedics in these hospitals.
The Deputy Commissioner also expressed his dismay for not wearing aprons by Doctors and paramedics staff during duty and warned that stern action would be initiated against doctors and paramedics who will be found without aprons during duty hours.
During the inspection, the Deputy Commissioner went round to various wards of these hospitals and interacted with patients and attendants to enquire about the facilities being provided in the hospitals.
