Kargil BJP demands 12 Cylinders for Ladakh Region

Kargil (Ladakh),October 19(Scoop News) – Kargil today observed a complete strike to press the demand for 12 Cylinders of LPG instead of six per year on Subsidy for Ladakh Region.
The call for a day long Bundh was given by BJP,Kargil and it also focused on various problems faced by the desert district and the neglected has suffered at the hands of the government. All shops and business establishments at the district head quarter remained shut for the day.
The protesters were seen carrying banners that read ‘Ab to Spasht hai, Congress Sarkaar Bhrasht hai’. The BJP activists gathered in large numbers in Kargil Bazaar carrying banners and flags.
The Protest was led by he Regional Vice President BJP Ladakh, Mohammad Subhan Jaffary and District President BJP Kargil Haji Ghulam Mohammad Khuddam.

Haji Khuddam termed the present coalition government a failure and promised for a better government in future by BJP in centre.
Jaffery termed the UPA government a government of corruption and Gottala and expressed his dissatisfaction over the limited subsidization of LPG for the public. He demanded 12 Cylinders instead of six per year on Subsidy for Ladakh Region due to the Minus Temperature in Ladakh
Jaffery said that the Verification process for LPG connections in Kargil is a source for looping money from the poor people. Jaffaery asked for monitoring and controlling by authority over the LPG Agencies.
