Joe Lieberman is a polarizing figure in the Connecticut political scene. Virtally considered persona non grata by the Democratic Party in the Nutmeg state and undesirable to Connecticut Republicans, he insists on being on thar list.
The now Independent senator continues to stir the pot as he refused to follow neocon political advisor Karl Rove and retire from the running to be senator John McCain’s running mate. Lieberman was recently on vacation and plans to appear on Face the Nation. He also plans to be in attendance in Minneapolis, as he has the illusion of being on a presidential ticket once again.
