"He was pretty confident about our bowling attack and how we would go here," revealed Peter Siddle. "He gave us a few little ideas.
"The main focus was about the slope, get used to running in, either getting pulled downhill or going the other way, but you’ve still got to bowl on any type of wicket.
"He liked the members’ end and that’s the end I’ll probably like too, coming back into the batsmen so that’s the end I’ll look to bowl from."
"It’s amazing," he admitted. "Growing up there were a few little dreams and one was always to play for Australia, but there were two grounds I always wanted to play at.
"Being Victorian it was always the MCG in a Boxing Day Test and I got that opportunity last year and the other was an Ashes series and playing at Lord’s and to be able to hopefully fulfil them at such an early age is a great honour."
"It’s tough being out there for that amount of time, very taxing on the body to keep on trying to take those wickets," he added.
"It’s Ashes cricket so they’re not going to come and not be ready for this match – they’re going to be out there firing."
