So the mind as the mind,so the man. As the man,so the world.
Human mind today is completely out of control,flowing in all directions.Our primary attempt should be to prevent the flow spreading in all directions by controlling,harnessing and regulating it.
A change in thoughts can be effected by three methods:
1.Reducing the quantity of thoughts.
2.Improving the quality of thoughts.
3.Giving a noble direction to the thoughts.
The main four yogas were karma,bhakti,jnana and raja yogas.
Karma yoga is the selfless activity dedicated to a selfless cause.It is inspired action,not a labour.
It is to love the very work at hand.In absence of anxiety for results of the quantity of thoughts reduces.
Bhakti yoga is devotion love directed towards the divine.The quality of thoughts improves through worship of the divine be adoring the noble.Ideals representing the idols.
Gnana yoga is to turn one’s attention from the seen to the seer.It is to change the direction
of seeking happiness outside.Till now one was seeking happiness outside.
Raja yoga helps one to control the mind through the control of the body and breath.
The mind controls of four karma yoga,bhakti yoga,gnana yoga,raja yoga.
