Bake a perfect pie: keep the edges of a pie from getting burnt by covering them with strips of aluminium foil. The foil will prevent the edges from getting overdone while the remainder of your pie gets perfectly browned.
Decorate a cake:
If you don’t have an icing bag, form a piece of heavy duty aluminium foil into a tube and fill it with soft icing.
If your silverware has become dull and black, try an ion exchange, a molecular reaction in which aluminium acts as a catalyst. Line a pan with cold water and add 2 teaspoons of salt, Drop the tranished silverware into the solution, let it sit for 2-3 minutes, then rinse and dry..
Toast your own cheese sandwhich:
Next time you pack for trip, include a couple of cheese sandwhiches wrapped in aluminium foil. If you check into a hotel after the kitchen has closed, you won’t have to raid the expensive mini-bar or room service. Instead, you can use the hotel room iron to press both sides of the wrapped sandwich and you will have an instant tasty hot snack.
Keep silver from tranishing:
Store freshly cleand silverware on top of a sheet of aluminiumfoil to stop it from tranishing.
