If you turn to Google, you’re likely to run into a familiar face.
Forty years after The Very Hungry Caterpillar was first published, author Eric Carle still receives some 10,000 letters a year from children who read his timeless classic. Following recent retrospectives in The Guardian and USA Today, Google has joined the fanfare with a nostalgic logo based on collagist Carle’s design.
Yearning to read the children’s book again, or share it with the next generation? Amazon has them all on offer–for now– from The Very Hungry Caterpillar paperback to the gorgeous original, The Very Hungry Caterpillar Pop-Up Book.
I know I’ll be thinking about the little ravenous guy.
