An ideal worker is one who also has good working habits in addition to the above qualities.
First of all, a good worker has the habit of keeping his place of work clean. Before starting his work he cleans his tools, machines etc. after finishing his job he arranges his tools and carefully puts of his machines.
He is always after in his job. This habit not only ensures his safety but also prevents any accidents.
A good worker observes discipline. He does not smoke or drink while he is on duty. Or does he talks to his colleagues while he is performing his duties.
He co-operates with his colleagues and acts I the best interest of his factory. He arrives at the place of his work a few minutes earlier than the factory timing so that he is not in haste. He leaves only when his duty time is over.
He does not unnecessarily interfere I others’ work but concentrates on his own job. When he goods away he seeks the permission of his immediate boss and does not leave the machines unattended.
He observes all the necessary safety precautions. He believes in the dictum (saying) of safety first and safety throughout’. He stores his tools carefully so that they are not damaged and he finds them whenever he requires them.
A worker with good working habits is really an asset for the employer!
