Ayuni warned of Jail Bharo Movement if their demands were not fulifilled.
CHITRAL: Residents of Ayun demanded from the district administration early releasing of their arrested colleagues and banning brutality cutting of forest. A public meeting was held here at Ayun under the chair of Qazi Maulana Yakhya which was attended by different politicians and elites of the area. Hence they postponed their protest and agitation due to imposing of section 144 by the district administration. Earlier that they held a peaceful rally and came to polo ground in procession to register their protest. The speakers said that we obey and respect of courts order and administration but this is our genuine right to express our views. They demanded from the district administration for immediate banning cutting of forest and releasing their arrested colleagues. They said that we raised our voice with a peaceful way against cutting of forest but the district administration lodged FIR against 53 people and 20 people were arrested who remained in prison even on the eve of Eidul Azha. First Information Reports were lodged under section 382, 17-3 Harba act, 341, 186, 353, 506, 504, 147, 148, 149, 109, 20 HO, 16 MPO (Maintaining of peace Ordinance) 7 Anti Terrorist Act they added. They said that we challenged 7 ATA in the court which was withdrawn on court order because there was not terrorism nor we burnt any official building. They given deadline of 1 week to the administration that if their demands were not fulfilled within the stimulated period they will be compelled to came on roads they ended their strike peacefully. Those who spoke on the occasion were Abul Wali Khan Advocate distinct president of Pakistan Qaumi Party, Maghfirat Shah former District Nazim Chitral, Shahzada Sikandarul Mulk former Tehsil Nazim Mastuj while Sartar Ahmad Khan former Tehsil Nazim Chitral , Sardar Ahmad khan Assistant Commissioner retired and elites of the area. The speakers warned that on expiring of deadline they will kicked a Jail Bharo movement and all of them will go to prison. They also warned that after ending of Deadline all government employees and students will also boycot as a protest against brutality of administration on the poor people
