The captivating modeling captured in the GQ Mexico editorial – “El Camino al Exito” (The Road to Success) – has exemplified why Bautista Zorio Munoz has earned recognition as one of the world’s top models.
Munoz is an internationally esteemed 6-foot-1 model from Valencia, Spain. He has constructed an extraordinary career highlighted by cover placements on Fantastics and Minus10 Magazine, as well as modeling campaigns for Abercrombie & Fitch, Tommy Hilfiger and more.
Munoz dazzled the pages of GQ Mexico with a vibrantly outstanding editorial of a stylized modern man.
“He showcased a set of stylish ensembles for the professional working man, complete with suits, jackets, shirts, ties, watches, belts and sunglasses,” said GQ Mexico’s Fashion Editor Alfonso Parra. “He fully conveyed the dapper, elegant look which is so strongly associated with the GQ brand, and which we wanted to achieve with this feature. Mr. Munoz was amazing in his various poses, in which he adopted the persona of a suave urban gentleman brimming with charisma.”
Munoz said, “GQ has an amazing history as a staple in our industry that runs for more than 50 years. It was an honor to work with the world’s leading men’s magazine, and I believe we were able to present a great feature that encompasses what it means to be a GQ man.”
Navigating his own road to success, Munoz has become a mainstay fixture in editorial spreads for many elite-level fashion magazines including Agenda, Adon, Caleo, Coast, Fantastics, Minus10 and Rocket.
With his wavy black hair, penetrating black eyes and meticulously chiseled frame, Munoz has all the physical attributes that allow him to stand out and stand on the summit of the modeling industry.
What’s made him a highly sought after model is not only his physical characteristics, but his ability to create photogenic expressions. Munoz’ special ability has not gone unnoticed by readers, photographers and industry leaders.
“One thing I immediately noticed was Mr. Munoz had adopted a number of subtle expressions and poses which conveyed self-confidence without seeming arrogant or aloof,” said Parra. “In fact, Mr. Munoz came off as just the kind of individual who our readers would want to emulate, but could also identify with – very polished and handsome, but still relatable. This is an elusive quality which is difficult to find in many male models.”
Getting his start when he was 19 years old and in London, Munoz made an international splash in the modeling and fashion industry. He was selected to model for Abercrombie & Fitch and Hollister store openings in Shanghai, Hong Kong, Beijing, South Korea, Munich, Dublin, Amsterdam and Milan. Munoz modeled for Abercrombie & Fitch for more than two years, and the opportunity was one where he directly enhanced the commercial success of two of the top fashion labels in the world.
Munoz has modeled for the Tommy Hilfiger catalog, ASOS.com and for a Trunk Show event from Vilebrequin, a distinguished French swimwear line. He has also been a leading model for Tommy Hilfiger and Mila&Jojo campaigns, and has modeled with designer clothing from Calvin Klein, Giorgio Armani and American Apparel.
Munoz is represented by TWO Management (Los Angeles), NEVS (London), Paragon Models (Mexico City) and Francina Models (Spain).
