Countrymen not going to tolerate antinational elements : PK

Jammu, November 27 (Scoop News) –Ashwani Kumar Chrungoo, President,Panun Kashmir today expressed satisfaction over the manner in which the youth of this country is resisting the holding of anti-national campaigns at various places in the country. The latest protest in Chandigarh at a Seminar on Kashmir is a testimony of the fact that the countrymen are not going to tolerate antinational elements. The campaigns undertaken by various nationalist organisations including Panun Kashmir in educating the masses of this nation against the dangers of secessionist elements have begun to succeed.

Ashwani Kumar was addressing in a meeting of its Political affairs committee today to take stock of the political developments taking place. The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Prof. M.L.Raina, Chairman, Political Affairs Committee. Those who attended the meeting among others included S/Shri Ashwani Kumar Chrungoo, President, Panun Kashmir, Virender Raina, National Spokesperson, J.L.Kaul, Vice President and Kamal Bagati, Organising Secretary.

Ashwani Kumar in a statement said that at a time when the whole world seems determined to defeat the forces of extremism and terror, it becomes our collective responsibility to counter the disinformation campaign of the secessionist elements about Kashmir. The issue of the genocide and exodus of the Kashmiri Pandits cannot be put to back burner for political expediency. Kashmiri Pandits being the indigenous people of Kashmir have first
and natural claim on the territory of Kashmir. The time has come when the establishment of a separate homeland in Kashmir needs to be put on a fast track.

Prof. M.L.Raina, Chairman, PAC in his speech appreciated the statements issued by the American administration regarding the sanctions put on the ISI and the LET. Though these sanctions are connected with their role in the 26/11 carnage in Mumbai, yet there is an important need to dispel the perception of confining the terror crimes to 26/11 incident only. This perception tends to sideline the thirty years’ role of Pakistan’s abetment and support in the crimes against humanity on Indian soil.

Virender Raina, National spokesperson-PK said that the so-called rehabilitation policy for the terrorists announced by the State government is shocking. The Kashmiri Pandits who are the victims of the acts of these terrorists continue to live as refugees in their own country. The situation prevailing in the state for the last two decades is the direct outcome of the heinous crimes committed by these very elements. This decision of the government has already been opposed by the peace loving and politically conscious people of state. This policy is flawed in its basics and the mood of the nation is totally against this decision. The recent disclosures of the captured terrorist reveal that there is a close nexus between the Kashmiri terrorists, the ISI and the international terror groups. In such a situation, this so-called rehabilitation policy for the terrorists could create a security risk for the nation.
