DARO,SARAWAK,MALAYSIA; Saturday;
Foreign convicts will be released if deported, says our Junior Minister for Internal Security. This is to ease the over-crowding of Malaysian jails, he reiterated.
Malaysian jails have been flowing to the brim for the last few years. Most are filled with illegals who have been targetting Malaysia for easy menial jobs.
Greed and low sense of patriotism ahve driven many employers to hire these illegals. They are willing to be paid low and no questions asked. Being in a sector of very high turnover they are used to fill in for those workers who are constantly going after high pay.
The bridge is safe, saya the Minister of Works. There are cracks on the sides of Penang Bridge, the longest bridge in Malaysia. The bridge which was completed in 1988 have been experiencing some very damaging traffic jam lately. This was due to our ever expanding economy. So bad was the tarffic jam that our government have awarded the building of a second bridge to connect the mainkand to the island of Penang. The award goes to United Engineers Malaysia..
