Kargil/Srinagar, May 10 (Scoop News) – Indian Airforce today airlifted about 46 stranded passengers including 9 students in 4 sorties of MI 17 Helicopter service from Kargil to Padum.
Engineer Punchok Tashi and MLA Feroz have conveyed their thanks to Katoch Director Civil Aviation, Gill AOC Udhampur, Mishra and Amir Ali OSD to Divisional Commissioner Kashmir for making arrangements for airlifting the stranded passengers
Meanwhile the Executive Councilor for Tourism and Zanskar Affairs LAHDC Kargil, Engineer Punchok Tashi along with MLA Zanskar Feroz Ahmad Khan visited Rangdum village to assess the progress of snow clearance work of
Executive Engineer Mechanical Division assured that his department will try its best to open the road for traffic upto 25th of this month.
