In order to take first hand appraisal, Minister for Revenue, Relief & Rehabilitation, Raman Bhalla, along with Minister of State for Home and Revenue, Nasir Aslam Wani, today visited Poonch, Anantnag, Kupwara, Bandipora and Srinagar districts to take stock of the extent of damage caused due to the natural calamity that occurred on Tuesday, resulting in widespread damage to life and property across the State.
The Ministers took a high-level meeting at Banquet Hall here today where the Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Asgar Samoon briefed the Ministers about the damage suffered due to windstorms that blew across
MLA, Gurez, Nazir Gurezi, IG, Kashmir, S, M. Sahai, DIG, CKR, A. G. Mir, Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar, Baseer Khan, Commissioner, SMC, G.N. Qasba, SSP Srinagar, Ashiq Bukhari, Director Health, Salim Rehman, Chief Engineers of PDD, R&B and PHE, besides several senior officers attended the meeting.
While submitting a detailed preliminary damage report, the Divisional Commissioner,
Samoon informed the Ministers that 3 persons have died and 30 injured in
