SRINAGAR/ JAMMU: Veteran Congress leader and minister for roads and buildings in Jammu and Kashmir, Mr Abdul Majeed wani instead of cursing Sonia, Manmohan and Azad for ignoring the rehabilitation of calamity hit people of wrest while Doda, Majid hailed Sonia for release of Rs 710 crore which PM himself has announced publically.
Minister for R&B, Mr. Abdul Majeed wani today hailed the decision of Prime Minister, Dr Manmohan singh and UPA chairperson, Mrs Sonia Gandhi for providing a package of Rs 710 cr to the state to clear the land acquisition liabilities under PMGSY road projects. It is pertinent to mention hear that Union Cabinet yesterday evening gave the nod for release of Rs 710 cr to state to clear the land acquisition liabilities under PMGSY road projects. The Package was announced by the prime Minister during his recent visit to J&K state. Mr wani also expressed his thanks to union Minister for Health and Family welfare, Mr Ghulam Nabi Azad and Minister for Rural Development Mr Jai Ram Ramesh for advocating the case of state for its release. The Minister said that approval Rs 710 cr. package would help in a long way to J&K for completing the various ambitious PMGSY road projects, which are pending due to non-availability of funds for land acquisition.
In a way, Majid has done a good job by expressing his gratitude to Manmohan, as leaders of high repute like Manmohan and Rahim Rather hardly remember what that say and what they do. For instance, Manmohan Singh during his 2006-07 visit announced a package for Kashmiri Pandit migrants which has been a dream till today for them. That too was announced in Katra and Akhnoor where a single family of Pandits is not habituated. Similarly, despite the failure of all schemes embarked by JK Finance Minister Mr Rahim Rather for public of state, he is continuously repeating group insurance scheme for a particular community.
The moral of story is that, a minister is duty bound to show his performance but after the failure and failure repeatedly the yes-men and conduits display advertisements for them o make them public friendly, Srikant Mishra said adding that MG NERGA, ICDS and Food Bill are the trends to corrupt the rural masses against failed dispensation. He said that history will remember these traitors of Hindustan for their misdeeds and ill doings and no for human development.
