MukeshAmbani To Launch The Biggest Residential Township In Navi Mumbai

Ambani may soon the change the face of residential township as he plans to build the biggest in Navi Mumbai, in the next four months. MukeshAmbani,India’s leading business tycoon along with Anand Jain, his closefriend since school days are in talks to launch the country’s largest residential township with all the modern facilities. They together own around 4300 acres of land at Ulwe- Dronaghiri inNaviMumbai.
The decision came in the wake of the announcement from the state government permitting corporate players to use 40% of the land under the Special Economic Zone for constructing residential properties. A company is also free to sell this developed place in the open market.
The residential spot is known to be in a key spot, next to the sea wherein they intend to build homes, malls, schools, and college of international standards and redefine residential township in the city and will cater to both affluent and weaker sections of the society. They are yet to roll out the module.
The announcement seems to have come at the right time considering that Navi Mumbai will be in a great shape by the time Ambani may launch this residential township. A sea link that connects Sewri to Ulwe may soon expect with the central finance ministry giving it a green signal and approving funds for the project. The commuting time between the places,(Nariman Point to Ulwe and Dronagiri) may reduce drastically, with this roll out. Apart from the freeway and the sea link, Navi Mumbai may also have its own international airport, in operation, by then.
This property was not in use, since 2005. However, with this announcement, they will finally be able to utilize the land.Navi Mumbai may come to the fore with the influx of developments announcements, here. Reliance’s present real estate projects include Reliance Corporate Park in Navi Mumbai, a state of the art Convention Center and a huge hospital in Mumbai.
Sources claim that they have also been keen on acquiring land in Karjat in Raigad district to launch a university. The research and innovation center,built, willhave all the excellent amenities and attract students from across the globe.
