Filipino software development and services provider Orange & Bronze Software Labs recently held a forum on Google Maps and Google Earth Enterprise, the geographical interface applications created by California-based Internet giant Google.
The forum, held last February 28 at the Dusit Thani Hotel in Makati City, demonstrated how Google Maps and Google Earth functionalities showed ease of use and speed of results in the areas of real estate, transportation, logistics, telecommunications and emergency response.
Some of these purpose-built geospatial services are already in use in different countries and have since improved service delivery. These new and innovative applications have enabled businesses to add location-based services that benefit their customers.
Demonstrations were conducted by Jay Henderson, Vice President of Global Sales for Navagis, a partner developer for Google Earth Enterprise and Edge Dalmacio, O&B Senior Software Engineer and Co-founder of haybol.ph, a real estate search engine using Google Maps.
