I was not always aware of God’s Holy Truth and God’s Word.
It took over 40 years of listening to a church that practices twisting the truth and lying, before my eyes were finally opened to the “Truth” The Word of God.
God Through Christ Jesus Guarantees The Promise That Roman Catholics Are Not Told And Are Denied
JOHN:14: 6-7: “I am the way the truth and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. If ye had known me, ye should have known My Father also: and from henceforth ye know Him, and have seen Him.
JOHN: 3: 14-17: “And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: That whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
Salvation through Christ Jesus is a promise of Almighty God, by Jesus, and since Almighty God hates sin and lying is sin, God cannot sin and does not lie, His promises are eternal as he is eternal.
As a Christian, “Born Again” through repentance and faithful acceptance and belief in Christ Jesus as our redeemer and savior we can have a guaranteed peace of mind, in the fact that we are saved from sin and death through the shedding of His Holy Blood on the cross at Calvary. We can be totally confident that our place in God’s Mansion in heaven has been secured and is awaiting our return to Our Father Almighty God.
The Apostle Paul reminds us of this: ll CORINTHIANS: 5: 17-19
“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things become new. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not inputing their trespasses unto them, and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
Once our condition is changed, through receiving Christ, God seals us for eternal life, regardless of any potential future sins. Jesus is at the right hand of Our Father God Almighty making intercession for us. HEBREW: 10:12; HEBREW: 7: 25 “But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God.” “Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.” The Apostle Paul also tells us in EPHESIANS: 1: 13 that once saves we are sealed with the Holy Spirit. Being sealed shows posession meaning we are considered posessions of God under the protection of God’s Holy Spirit who protects us.
Since I was born and raised in the Roman Catholic Church, I did not always understand or know about salvation and eternal security. Yes the Roman Catholic Church teaches that through Jesus our sins are forgiven, But, we were not taught that Jesus purified us for all eternity.
I was not taught this I actually stumbled across it. It was my belief through what I had been taught by the Catholic Church, that it was possible to lose my salvation through sin, and that sin jeopardized a person’s salvation. One Sunday morning, I was sitting in my easychair in my living room, watching TV while waiting to go to mass at church and sing.
I accidently switched on a program called “In Touch” and here was this Baptist preacher Charles Stanley giving a talk about “Eternal Security”. As I watched and listened to him everything he was saying made sense. I grabbed my Bible and checked out the scriptures and sure enough, there it was in black and white, God’s Words spelling it out in detail. Week after week I watched and learned, learning that the very questions that had been gnawing at my spirit, this minister was answering, one by one.
As a person raised as a Roman Catholic, I was taught just the opposite. Truely the Roman Catholic Church believes in a “Triune God” They also believe in God’s Word and The Holy Bible, BUT, They take God’s word God’s truth, and twist it and apply their own spin to things to suit their own needs and create their own Doctorines, beliefs and teachings alot of which are not Holy Bible Scripture based at all.
It was not until about 25 years ago, I began to question many things that did not seem quite right to my spirit, and finally opened my heart, and my mind, and my Holy Bible. In 40 years of being Catholic and singing for God, I had never once opened a Bible. It took 40 years for my mind and my eyes to be opened, so that I learned just how deceived I’d been.
I still attend the Roman Catholic Church. I do so, but I no longer call myself a Catholic. I am a “CHRISTIAN”, who daily offers himself totally to the service of Almighty God. Since My Father God, through God’s Holy Spirit, has never asked nor suggested to my spirit that I leave, I remain, but I do so solely out of My love for God and my God given ability to draw souls to Him through my singing of His Holy music, as I sing for two church choirs.
Over the last 8 years, I have taken up my cross, my resposibility to proclaim the Gospel and share God’s truth God’s Holy Word with my fellow man and I began evangelizing through the power of the Holy Spirit and the usage of the internet to share all that God is teaching me personally that God desires me to share with others. The articles I write now my publications are teachings God desires his children, his people to know.
