Philippine-based online company participates in unique job creation challenge

 Manila, Philippines —Michael Oliver, founder of software provider Open 4 Business Online (O4BO), is one of the 93 finalists from around the world taking part in a unique, new job creation, crowd funding initiative sponsored by

Oliver will try to fund one year’s worth of salaries for 10 new hires from the Philippines – including software developers, customer support agents, and content specialists. "The Philippines is the ideal place to start a SaaS company", said Oliver. He adds that "the Business Process Outsourcing industry in the Philippines is booming. The combination of talent found here plus the value of our product forms the perfect synergy for our customers", says Oliver.

O4BO is a Software as a Service (SaaS) provider for small to medium enterprises. The product provides accounting, inventory, point-of-sale, sales force automation, customer relationship management, and web content management solutions on a subscription basis. Over 10 million small- to medium-sized businesses currently use or plan to use these kinds of services, and O4BO is poised to serve them well with high value at low cost. O4BO is part of the incubation program of Orange & Bronze Software Labs (O&B), a local software firm that provides support for budding technopreneurs to accelerate development and delivery of products.
