Power shut down in Kashmir

Srinagar,November 16 (Scoop News) – According to Power Controller, Power Development Department, Kashmir, in order to carry out urgent needed maintenance works, power shutdown of 132/33 KV Grid Station Bemina line shall be affected on November 18, 2012 from 09 a.m. to 05 p.m.
In another communication from the department, to carry out the remaining work for reconductoring of 11 KV feeders to facilitate RGGVY work in South Kashmir, the power supply of Receiving Stations of Dachnipora, Qaimoh, D.H. Pora, Achabal, Khiram, Dooru, Kokernag, Dailgam and Verinag Nowgam catering the feeders of Srigufwara, Redwani, Aharbal, Achabal, Thajwara, Khiram, Dooru, Vailoo to Ahlen Gadole, Sichen Sadoora, Souf and Kapran respectively, the power shutdown during the months of November, December 2012 and January 2013 on specific dates.
In third communication from the department, in order to lay conductor on II Circuit of 132 KV Awantipora Lassipora Transmission line, power shutdown of 132 KV Awantipora Lassipora line shall be affected on November 18, 20, 22, 24, 26, 28, 2012 and December 01, 2012 from 11 a.m. to 02 p.m.
Meanwhile, in another communication from the said department, to carry out repairs and branch cuttings, power shut of Amargarh Delina, Amargarh Wagoora, Amargarh Bandipora, Amargarh Watrigam 33 KV lines shall be affected on November 17, 18 and 19, 2012 from 10 a.m. to 05 p.m.
