In Fairfax City , Virginia, seventeen snakes have been found in a hotel room. Twelve of the snakes were poisonous.
Police think the snakes belonged to a man who had kept 100 exotic snakes in his home until he was told to get rid of them by July first.
No one knew the snakes were there until two of them died, and people started complaining about a strange odor coming from the hotel room. The man, whose name is Peter T. Nguyen, had rented the room because he hadn’t been able to get rid of all the snake before his deadline.
He sent some of the snakes to a friend of his in Florida. The rest were put in Room 11 of the Hy-Way Motel in Fairfax City.
