Kuala Lumpur,Malaysia:-
The Prime Minister of Malaysia, Datuk Abdullah Badawi, last night revealed that the King[or Agung] has agreed to the three new members of his cabinet.
The three are actually replacements to the three original nominees who declined to take up the posts.
They will take the new posts of Environment, internal trade and foreign ministry. Two of the new Deputy Ministers were from the state of Sabah, which was won by the National Front and a new lady,Maznah Mazlan, from the state of Pahang.
The new nominee for the post of Speaker Of parliament, Pandikar Amin Mulia also hailed from the state of Sabah. However, for the post of Deputy Speaker, the Opposition also has forwarded their own nomination.
This time the Parliament will be more vociferous as there are more Opposition members. And to make it more tempting, the debate session will be broadcasted live via RTM.
With the appointment of the three new Deputy Ministers, Speaker and Deputy Speaker, the stage is set for a more active democracy, right here in Malaysia.
