Warid Telecom on Thursday launched another lucrative prepaid package with a Zem prepaid connection, Nokia 1208 handset and free talk-time worth Tk 3,500.
The latest package is available at all business centres, franchisees, corporate sales points and designated sales points of Warid Telecom.
The officials of Warid Telecom, the fourth largest mobile phone operator in the country, hope the new package would be able to draw huge response from customers like Warid’s recently launched several other packages.
Under the latest bundled offer, a customer will get a Nokia 1208 handset, Tk 3,500 talk-time and a Zem prepaid connection at a cost of Tk 3,599. The bonus talk-time would be valid for nine months from the date of activation.
Apart from making calls to any other mobile phones, the users can also make local, NWD, ISD and E-ISD calls to any fixed phone networks and access to internet through using GPRS/EDGE.
Warid Telecom also brought recently a post-paid package under which a customer can get a Samsung SGH C160 handset and a Zahi royal connection free of costs. Under this offer, a customer would actually enjoy benefits worth Tk 17,667 by paying only Tk 6,000.
Warid Telecom, a subsidiary of UAE-based Abu Dhabi Group, launched its commercial operation in Bangladesh in May 10, 2007 as the sixth the mobile phone operator. Within one year, the company became fourth largest operator by acquiring over three million subscribers through spreading its network to all the 64 districts.
