Warid to take step to save Banani Lake

Warid Telecom has announced to take Banani Lake from pollution and also take necessary steps to beautify the are and make the area clean with the slogan ‘Preserve Nature for a Safe Future’.
Mr. Muneer Farooqui, CEO, Warid Telecom has inaugurated the beautifying projects on Saturday. Mr. Safiqul Islam, Chairman of Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha and Mr Akhter Ahmed, Joint Secretary of Housing and Public Works Ministry with some other officials were also present at the inaugural ceremony of the project.
Warid is also planted trees along the walkways, set up fountain, erected sculptures and renovated the walkways with seating arrangements across the lake and promised to maintain the lake round the year to keep it pollution free.
Warid CEO Mr. Muneer Farooqui said, "Warid is always committed to bring about positive changes in the society through various steps as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility".
