Addressing All India National Integration Camp of NCC here, the Chief Minister said that those who are associated with organizations like NCC cultivate young person’s as disciplined, qualified, responsible and capable citizens to take care of the future and safeguard the interests of the society and the country.
On recent happenings in the Valley, Omar said that government is out to convenience the people all across that exploitation of youth is in no way any body’s interest and civil society has responsibility to protect the youth from falling prey in the hands of vested interests. He said government is taking appropriate measures to take the State out of the difficult period. He said there is a light at the end of every tunnel how long it may be and asked the people in general and youth in particular to rise to the occasion and play their important role in helping the government to fizz out the present difficult situation.
Omar Abdullah said that
The Chief Minister expressed the hope that NCC cadets will play their role in linking more and more youth of the State with their rank and file to help safeguard their future and mould younger generation into citizens of par excellence.
Omar Abdullah also distributed medals and certificates to the outstanding cadets on the occasion and prayed for the betterment and bright future for all the youth.
