1 died 3 injured when opposite gropu stabbed them on land dispute

3 stabbed by digger on land dispute.

 

CHITRAL: As well as 3 persons stabbed with digger on land dispute. According to Station House Officer (SHO) Police Station Torkho Rahmat Azam Khan there was a land dispute between two groups which was most deteriorated. One group attacked on rival party on Monday at Shahgram village of Tehsil Torkoh they were six persons and stabbed 3 persons from their rival group one of them were died on the spot. Mir Arab, Sher Arab and Ali Rahman were stabbed by 6 persons and Mir Arab driver who succumbed to his injured and was died while the remaining two were badly injured. They were rushed to nearby hospital where they are under treatment. Torkoh police lodged First Information Report (FIR) on the complaint of relatives of Mir Arab against Suhail, Saifullah, Noor Shahideen, Ansari, Shafi and Muhammad Waseem Baig son of Qayum Baig former UC Nazim Torkho and all of accused persons were arrested by Torkoh police who also recovered digger which was used in this murder case. Police registered case under section 302 of Pakistan Panel code against these 6 accused persons who were also arrested on the spot. This is the first incidence in the history of this area that local people stabbed opposite group with digger because the area is famous for its exemplary peace. Meanwhile social and political circle of the area highly hailed and appreciated quick action by Torkoh police who arrested the accused of murder case on the spot.

 

 Water supply could not restored on second week.

 

As main pipeline of water supply schemes have been damaged by heavy flood at Angarghon Shah as a result  supply of potable drinking water has been suspended for the last 8 days and water and Sanitation Unit could not restore water supply to its consumers. As a result people facing great hardships even in this holy month of Ramzan and they carrying water in pitches from far flung areas. A water well has been constructed on self help basis by Met staff at Met colony Balach and a large number of people coming here to get drinking water until late night. Residents of the area have demanded from the local administration for immediate restoration of water supply schemes so as to settle their genuine problem.
