1 died in corn pop factory. . Popcorn machine burst kills one
CHITRAL: As well as one person died when a Gas cylinder burst in a corn pop factory at Istangoal near Koghuzi village some 20 KM from here. According to SHO police station Koghuzi a man was died and one other injured, A popcorn machine burst killed one person and injured another in Istangol village about 20 km north of Chitral town source told this scribe, At least one person was killed and another wounded when fire erupted in a house at Istangol on Thursday morning.
The deceased was a resident of Mashelik while the injured belongs to Chamarkhon. Their names could not be confirmed from local authority due to no communication network in the area. The injured has been admitted to the DHQ Hospital Chitral. Istangol is situated about 20 km north of Chitral town.
Reports said the deceased used to fry corns (Daan) in a room in front of his house and sell it in the local market to earn a livelihood. The room caught fire on Thursday morning due to perhaps short-circuiting trapping the two men inside. One was died while the other injured badly.
