1 dozen injured by biting by stray dogs at Chitral

4 died by biting of stray dog. (Mad dog).

CHITRAL: As well as 4 persons were died by biting of stray (mad) dogs within 3 days at Arandu village situated on Pak Afghan border. According to Haji Sher Muhammad Nazim Union Council Arandu so many people were bitten by mad dogs where 4 of them were died in last 3 days while more than one dozen were injured he added. Those who died were known as Adeena Khan son of Katoor Khan, Izharul Haq son of Abdul Qayum Jan, a 5 years old child Malang son of  Adeena Khan and Toor Kha. While other were injured they are known as wife of Afzal Khan, Inayatullah, Abdul Malik, Zahir Shah, Muzafaruddin, Qadir Khan, Muhammad Akbar, Sadiq, Khanzada and Walayat Khan etc. It is added that there is no anti rabbis vaccine in Chitral hospitals sine long and so many cases of biting by stray dogs were recorded in Chitral but no action was taken by the concern authority to kill these stray dogs and provide anti rabbis vaccine.

A young girl committed suicide.

CHITRAL: A young girl committed suicide at Chunch village of Tehsil Mastuj some 120 KM from here. According to president Human Rights Monitoring Committee Mastuj Ms Shakira Naz  Miss Shabana 22 daughter of Sharif Khan reprimanded in her house due to some domestic problems. she after some squall went into a room of her house and hanged her self inside the room. when she not came out after a long time family members broken door of the house and found her dead. She had passed her intermediate examination and was unmarried.  The real cause behind her death could not ascertained until filling of this report.

Man injured by his gun slipping on snow bound road.

CHITRAL:  A man was injured when fire opened from his own 12 rifle when he fell done after slipping on a slippery road covered by snowfall. According to Mastuj police Ahmad Faraz son of Sher Faraz was on his way carrying his 12 bore rifle for hunting seasonal ducks on the bank of Chitral River. Ahmad Faraz slipped over snow bound road and fire open from his loaded gun. He injured on his right shoulder. He was rushed to Booni hospital immediately as there is no doctor in Rural Health Center Mastuj. His condition is telling out of danger police added.

Meanwhile  supply of electricity was restored after two days break down which had been suspended at Lawari tom after damaging cable of main transmission line due to heavy snowfall.
