Part of one Vernacular Photographic Collection

"A Found Photo" will be opening at the D3 PROJECTS gallery in the saturation of Art to be seen,@ the spacious Bergamot Station Arts Center.

I have taken a quick look preview, at the nearly one hundred Vernacular images each one framed and designated to be appearing for the random new eye. They row geometrically in regimented order allowing any pair of eyes to visually float towards sensational thought and visual pleasure. The straight line of pictures makes one go in and out of moments of picture time documentation.

Many ideas come to mind when landing on an island of picture.

For me, I will list some of the appreciation I stuck into my mind’s pocket.

Just as everything has a personal definition this list should be defined similarly, to taste.

The above list is my list. Not in any particular order. Not complete. Just a stream of consciousness. Attributable to some of the meaning of the reception of imagery.

The exhibition will be a treat for the hungry eye. The great news is that it is free. As free as acceptance. The found photo made by someone’s camera in the past, presents the present. The gift of definition will be made individually. The beauty is of making a new meaning, to something that had once another meaning entirely.

My favorite picture in the show was the night shot of the theater’s marquee, and its letters of

information , reminding me of Jazz music of the night .

A new visual archive is exposed to public.
I say go see this show!
