National Highway, Awantipora, falling under the jurisdiction of police station Awantipora, resulting in damage to the vehicle and injuries to driver Abid resident of Sopore. The injured was shifted to Sub District hospital, Bijbehara for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.

Boy drowns in River Jehlum
A boy Gulzar Ahmad Kaloo age 6 years son of Farooq Ahmad resident of Gadahanz Mohalla, Makdoom Yari, got drowned in river Jehlum near Makdoom Yari, Bandipora, falling under the jurisdiction of police station Hajin. The body of the drowned boy was fished out and handed over to his relatives for last rites.

During the intervening night of 04/05.04.2012, fire broke out in the joint house of Mohammad Jabbar Mochi son of Abdul Aziz and Abdul Hamid Mochi son of Mohammad Jamal at Sheikh Mohalla, Hakura, Anantnag, falling under the jurisdiction of police station Anantnag.
