Peshawar: At least 13 people including air force security forces have been killed and several more injured in a bomb blast in Peshawar, Tuesday morning.
Hospital sources have confirmed the killing of 13 persons while police officials say that most of the dead are security men.
A vehicle of air force security men was on its way to Peshawar from Kohat, some miscreants blew up it through a remote controlled mine when it reached ‘Wakho Pull’ area near Peshawar city, added the sources.
According to unidentified sources cited by Geo News, it was a homemade bomb and it is still not known how many civilians were among the casualties.
On Monday, a 20 year old boy, apparently a suicide bomber, was killed in Gulbahar area of the city and two other were injured when they were carrying explosives.
Taliban militants, fighting with security forces in Bajaur, Kurram, Swat and other areas, had warned they would carry more attacks on security forces.
