14 Animals charred, 4 people Die, 5 Injured in Kashmir

 

 

Srinagar, October 21 (Scoop News) –    Four persons died and five others were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir Valley.

Police said that a Auto Rickshaw bearing registration number JK05A/9681 driven by Nazir Ahmed Ahanger age 28 years son of Abdul Khaliq resident of Shahgund collided with an electric pole and rolled down into a deep gorge, resulting in injuries to the driver and Ghulam Hassan son of Abdul Khaliq resident of Shahgund. Both the injured were hospitalized, where Ghulam Hassan succumbed to his injures. A case has been registered in this regard.  

        A Truck bearing registration number JK09/0258 driven by Javid Ahmed son of Ali Mohammad resident of Bemina Srinagar hit a Motorcycle bearing registration number JK01A/3663 driven by Abdul Rahman Yatoo age 35 years son of Ali Mohammad resident of Dolipora, Nagam, at Kralpora, Budgam, falling under the jurisdiction of police station Chadoora, resulting in injures to the motorcyclist . The injured was shifted to the hospital where he succumbed to his injures. A case has been registered in this regard.  

A Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK01F/3402 driven by Javid Ahmed son of Mohammad Rustum Lone resident of Hari hit and injured two minor children Mohammad Ilyaas Peerzada age 12 years son of Mohammad Farooq resident of Hari and Firdous Ahmed Lone age 14 years son of Ghulam Ahmed resident of Gulgam, at Batergam, Kupwara falling under the jurisdiction of police station Kupwara. Both the injured were shifted to sub district hospital Kupwara, where they succumbed to their injures. The vehicle involved in the accident was set ablaze by angry mob. However, police swung in action and restored law and order. Kupwara police arrested the driver and registered a case in this regard.

        An accident took place between a Tata Mini bus bearing registration number JK01C/3888 driven by Gulzar Ahmed Bhat son of Ahad Bhat resident of Nadirgund and a Truck bearing registration number JK01B/7202 near Humhama, Budgam, falling under the jurisdiction of police post Humhama, resulting in injuries to Tata Mini bus driver and two passengers. All the injured were hospitalized. A case has been registered in this regard.

        A Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK03A/6278 driven by Mushtaq Ahmed Bhat son of Ghulam Rasool resident of Shankerpora hit and injured a boy Aftab Wani age 12 years son of Mohammad Shafi resident of Nagrota Jammu at present Nowpora Anantnag at Nowpora, Anantnag, falling under the jurisdiction of police station Dooru. The injured was hospitalized. A case has been registered in this regard.     

 

14 Animals charred in Shopian   

Fire broke out in the Kotha of Bashir Ahmed Koli son of Dedar Koli resident of Zampathri, Shopian falling under the jurisdiction of police station Keller. Eight buffalos, one ox and five sheep were charred to death in this incident. Police is on job to ascertain the cause of fire.          

 

 

Bung cultivation destroyed in Bijbehara  

Anantnag police alongwith Excise team destroyed bung cultivation spread over 85 kanals of land at village Dupatyar, Anantnag falling under the jurisdiction of police station Bijbehara.
