On 19^th July 08  at 1: 30 am A friend was coming back from work, late night being tired and alone he thought of stopping to a nearby wine shop to grab a beer can. The shop was closed but there was an 8 year old kid, who started telling him about still he can get a beer for him and other places where he could get wine & beer 24/7.

My friend asked the kid where you stay, what you do? He replies he is from Bangladesh (a small town near Dhaka) sleeps whole day and at night helps people to find wine & food and earns his livelihood, “I stay in a nearby slum with my parents and 5 siblings, who are in the same business. Sometimes when cops grab us, they beat, abuse and warn us not to do all such things, but for stomach and since we don’t have other options to survive, we do it”, the kid replied.  

Ultimately, the kid bought a can of beer for my friend even though the shop was closed. My friend was surprised! And gave him 10 bucks as tip. This is one of the faces of changing Gurgaon and how children from outside the country are thrown into risky tasks like these by there parents in the ever progressing town.
