Srinagar, January 11 (Scoop News) -One person died and twenty three other were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir valley.
In continuation to a Road Traffic accident on 09.01.2012 near Khinbugh, Barsoo on National Highway in the jurisdiction of Police Station Awantipora, in which 07 persons were injured. Among the injured Assadullah Hakim son of Mohammad Sidiq resident of Rathsuna, Tral succumbed to his injuries at SKIMS Soura today.
A passenger Bus bearing registration number JK01B-0605 driven by Mohammad Ayub Banthoo son of Habibullh Banthoo resident of Kusombagh Hakbara rolled down from the road near New Bridge Sumbal, resulting in injuries to 23 passengers travelling in the bus. All the injured were hospitalized. Police has registered a case in this regard.
4 injured, three structures damaged in fire
Four persons injured and three structures damaged in different fire incidents.
Fire broke out in the residential house of Shabir Ahmad Najar son of Ghulam Ahmad Najar resident of Tawheed Gunj Baramulla. The house was partially damaged in the incident. The house owner and his wife Shaheena @ Daisy, his daughter Insha and a relative Faizan Farooq Najar son of Farooq Ahmad resident of Arampora Sopore received burn injuries in the incident. All the injured were hospitalized. Fire was brought under control by Baramulla Police with the assistance of Fire Services Baramulla.
Fire broke out in Today wooden Morcha and a Guard Room of CRPF 117 Bn in the premises of CID Headquarters Srinagar falling in the jurisdiction of police station Kothi Bagh, Srinagar in which the structure got damaged.Fire was brought under control. However, no loss of life or injury was reported in the incident.
