2 die, 4 injured in road mishaps in Kashmir

 

 

 

Srinagar, October 25(Scoop News) –   Two persons died and other four were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir Valley.

 

A Bus bearing registration number JKE/5624 collided with a Wagon-R bearing registration number JK05C/ 6152 at Matipora, Drugmulla, Kupwara in the jurisdiction of Police Station Kupwara, resulting in on spot death of one person Sharief-u-Din-Bukhari, age 70 years, son of Qatub-ud-Din resident of Kreeri Pattan and other two persons Naseer-u-Din Bukhari, age 32 years, son of Shams-u-Din and Sawha-ud- Din Bukhari, age 43 years, son of Qatub-ud-Din Bukhari resident of Kreeri Pattan got injured. Both the injured has been shifted to District Hospital Kupwara for treatment where from both referred to SKIMS Soura Srinagar for further treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.

          In another accident a Ford Figo temporary registration number M-126D hit and injured three children’s Gousia age 12 years, daughter of Abdul Hamid Bhat resident of Surash Khag, Uzma age 11 years, daughter of Bashir Ahmad Wani resident of Sail and Yawar Wani, age 10 years, son of Farooq Ahmad Wani resident of Sail at general road village Sail, Budgam, in the jurisdiction  of Police Station Beerwa, in which one injured gril Uzma Succumbed to her injuries at SKIMS Soura Srinagar the other two are under  treatment. A case was registered in this regard.  

 

 

6 Structures damages in fire

 

During the intervening night of 24/25.10.2012, fire broke out at Sheikhpora, Kupwara, in the jurisdiction of police station Lalpora, resulting in damage to the five shops and a residential house. However, no loss of life or injury was reported in this incident.  

 

 

Body recovered in Srinagar  

: Parimpora police recovered body of Mohammad Rafiq Khan driver son of Shair Wali Khan resident of Chokibal, Tamna, Kupwara presently rented on Nath Mohalla, Srinagar at Nath Mohalla, Srinagar in the jurisdiction of police station Parimpora. Police inquest proceedings under section 174 CrPC have been initiated in this regard.
