2 die, 8 injured in road mishaps in Kashmir

 

 

Srinagar, November 10 (Scoop News) – Two persons died and eight others were injured in different road accidents in Kashmir Valley.

A Tipper bearing registration number JK01N-8608 driven by Mohammad Yousuf Bhat son of Ghulam Mohammad resident of Makhan Pora hit a boy Rasik Ahmad Parray son of Javaid Ahmad resident of Sanigam at Sanigam, falling under the jurisdiction of Police Station Kulgam, resulting in his on the spot death. Soon after this incident, people of the area came out and set ablaze the vehicle. Police reached the spot and arrested the driver. Police has registered a case in this regard.

          A Sumo bearing registration number JK05-1426 driven by Mohammad Ashraf Dedard son of Ali Mohammad resident of Garkoti fell into a deep gorge about 100 feet near Upper Road Garkoti, falling under the jurisdiction of Police Station Uri, resulting in injuries to five persons boarding the Sumo. All the injured were shifted to SDH Uri where driver of the Sumo was declared brought dead. 

          An Alto Car bearing registration number JK04B-4375 driven by Shahid Shafi Bhat son of Mohammad Shafi Bhat resident of Gopalpora, Budgam collided with an Auto Load Carrier bearing registration number JK04A-6824 driven by Mohammad Shafi Ganaie son of Abdul Salam, resident of Gogoo Humhama near Chanpora Bridge, falling under the jurisdiction of Police Post Chanpora, Srinagar. Three persons were injured in the mishap. All the injured were hospitalized. Police has registered a case in this regard.

          An unknown Car hit and injured a boy Salman Hamid son of Abdul Hamid, resident of Anipora, Dailgam at Dailgam, falling under the jurisdiction of Police Station Anantnag. The injured boy was hospitalized. Police has registered a case in this regard.

The body found near a school identified  

An unidentified body that was recovered by Ram Munshi Bagh police station near Burn Hall School on 05.11.2011 was identified as Ghulam Ahmad Ganaie son of Ali Mohammad, resident of Natipora, Nowgam. The body was handed over to legal heirs for last rites.
