2 die, 9 injured in road mishaps in Kashmir

 

 

Srinagar, October 17 (Scoop News) –    Two persons including a minor girl died and nine others were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir Valley.

Accorrding to Police a Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK13B/4461 hit and injured a girl Insha Jan age 4 years daughter of Tariq Ahmed Kar residents of Civil Lines, Tral near Civil Lines, Tral falling under the jurisdiction of police station Tral. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment where she succumbed to her injuries. The body was handed over to legal heirs for last rites. A case has been registered in this regard.

        A Mini bus bearing registration number JK05/1266 carrying marriage party turned turtle on road near Old Jamia Masjid, Bandipora, falling under the jurisdiction of police station Bandipora, resulting in on spot death of driver Mohammad Iqbal Sheikh age 23 years son of Gulzar Ahmad resident of Nowpora Bandipora and injuries to eight passengers. All the injured were hospitalized. A case has been registered in this regard.  

        A Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK05A/4354 hit a Motorcycle bearing registration number JK01D/3936 at Batpora Kunzer, Baramulla, falling under the jurisdiction of police station Kunzer, resulting in injuries to Motorcyclist Ajaz Ahmad Bhat age 19 years son of Abdul Ahad resident of Maloora Shalteng. The injured was hospitalized. A case has been registered in this regard.      

 

 

 

Man found hanging at home in Srinagar

Mohammad Rafiq Ahanger age 35 years son of Ghulam Mohiudin resident of Makerpora Kawdara, Srinagar falling under the jurisdiction of police station Nowhatta was found hanging in his house. Nowhatta police initiated an inquest proceedings under section 174 CRPC in this regard.

 

 

Lady consumes poison in Kupwara

Srinagar, October 17: A lady (name with held) resident of Reshigund Kupwara, falling under the jurisdiction of police station Trehgam consumed some poisonous substance at her home. She was shifted to SMHS hospital Srinagar for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard. 

 

Girl found hanging at home in Budgam

Srinagar, October 17: During the intervening night of 16/17.10.2011, a girl age 18 years resident of Khag, Budgam, falling under the jurisdiction police station Khag allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself in her house. Khag police initiated an inquest proceedings under section 174 CRPC in this regard.
