2 Foreign tourists die in Leh,GREF labourer also dies in Leh

  

    

Leh/Srinagar,July 15 (Scoop News) –  One foreign tourist namely Meith Kalis Peter bearing German Passport No. CCXCFR08 and Visa No. AM057592 aged about 53 years died at Manker Kermo area in Stok Leh falling under the jurisdiction of police station Leh. Proceedings under section 174 CrPC have been initiated in this regard. Body is lying in hospital Leh for further disposal,said Police.

      According to Police  another foreign tourist namely Marcal bearing French Passport No. 03R188438 and Visa No. AL494500 aged about 62 years died due to illness near Skangchu-Theng Leh falling under the jurisdiction of police station Numa. Proceedings under section 174 CrPC have been initiated in this regard. Body is lying in Leh hospital for further disposal.       

Meanwhile One casual labourer of 64 GREF namely Bobal Mahak aged 32 years son of Marsed Mahak resident of West Bengal stationed at Lamayouru Leh falling under the jurisdiction of police station Leh fell ill and was shifted to Leh hospital were he died. Proceedings under section 174 CrPC have been initiated in this regard. Body lying in Leh hospital for further disposal.

Police said that A minor girl died and seven others were injured in two different road mishaps in Kashmir Valley.

According to Police One Tipper bearing registration number JK04/4131 hit a Sumo bearing registration number JK01N/5646 at Dangerpora Sumbal, falling under the jurisdiction of police station Sumbal, Bandipora today, resulting in death of a minor Seerat Afzal daughter of Mohammad Afzal Ganie resident of Barsoo Ganderbal and injuries to five passengers traveling the Sumo. Police has registered a case in this regard.

One Tempo Traveler bearing registration number JK02AC/5732 carrying met with an accident at Hyderpora Bypass near Jamkash Motors, Srinagar resulting in injuries to two persons namely Vinod Jaspal son of Joginder and Babita wife of Nitish Khandiwal resident of Kisheny M.P. Injured have been shifted to Bone and Joints hospital for treatment .

In another incident One Khalid Bhat son of Ghulam Rasool resident of Aga Hamam Habba Kadal drowned in river Jehlum while taking bath at Ganpatyar Habba Kadal, Srinagar falling under the jurisdiction of police station Kralkhud. The body was fished out later and handed over to his relatives for last rites.
