20% seats increased in Colleges of Chitral

 

20 % seats extended in admission at Degree colleges Boys and Girls for 3rd Year.

CHITRAL:  Due to shortage of seats in Degree colleges of boys and Girls Chitral most of male and female students were facing great problems at the time of admission. And most of talents students were deprived from admission due to limited seats.  On the complaints of students Tehsil Nazim Chitral Sartaj Ahmad Khan approached high ups of education department for increasing admission seats in both degree colleges of Chitral (Boys & Girls). As a result Directorate of Colleges approved for extension of 20% extra seats in colleges in 3rd year. Students of Chitral expressed their great pleasure and satisfaction on this decision and thanked Tehsil Nazim for his efforts and initiative in this regard. IT section will be opened very soon at both colleges. Moreover two more degree colleges will be opened at Drosh and Garamchisham Tehsil Nazim Sartaj  Ahamd Khan said while talking to this scribe he said that  its feasibility report   has been completed and approved by the competent Authority.  He said that it has been approved during a meeting with Governor NWFP Ali Muhammad Jan Orakzai of a delegation of elites and elected Naib Nazimeen . He  36 more colleges will be established at NWFP. He appeals to high ups of Education department to streamline and expedite the case. He also appeal for establishment of two more colleges for boys and girls at Chitral town as the existing number of colleges are not sufficient.

 

 

Office Bearers of HRMC Garamchishma elected.

 

New office of Human Rights Monitoring Committee established at Garamchishma under Easy & Equitable Access to Justice Program. Talking to local activists Niaz Ali Shah prominent Human Rights activist and Project Coordinator said on the occasion that this is responsibility of each human being to protect their own and other basic human rights. He said EEAJP is trying of its best to empower local women and protect their rights. Besides him Syed Akram Shah, Niaz A Niazi Advocate also spoke on the occasion. They said that you must to point out and raise voice against any injustices and human and women rights violation. Following are the office bearers of newly established HRMC Garamchishma.

Mrs. Mukhtar President, Bibi Hawa vice president, Gul Tafima General Secretary, Farhat Naz Joint Secretary, Taj Bibi Finance Secretary, while some 18 female are honorary members of the committee. As well as members from far-flung and remote area in adjacent to Garamchishma would also be selected for the committee. Talking to this scribe Mrs Mukhtar Bibi newly president of HRMC said that we will try of our best to protect women rights and maintain peaceful environment in the area.
