2007 Oscars Fever Fades, Normal Life Resumes

Did anybody watch the awards this year?  I didn’t.  I had Oscar fever so bad that it sent me to bed and I passed out before Ellen hit the stage.

I thought I might have something to say about the awards show this year, but I wasn’t really looking forward to watching them.  I didn’t see most of the movies being nominated because I’m still catching up on DVDs and everything else on my DVR.

The morning after the awards, I wanted to know who won and so I looked it up on the official Oscars website and found out that way.  Maybe that is enough of a comment on media right there.  People don’t have to tune in to their televisions anymore to find out what’s going on, or worry that they’ll miss something if they don’t watch it live.  Now we have the internet. Now we have DVRs.

It’s all there for you, to look back and check whenever you have the time…bless the technology!
