Counting is still on going in Ghana Election 24 hours after the end of voting. The result has been swinging between the ruling NPP and the main oppostion NDC. Depending on which constituencies are combined, it is one time for the NPP and at another for the NDC.
An indepence journalist and a well respected polter in the country has however indicated that the NDC now has majority of the parliamentary seats with 117 out of 230, with some results yet to be declared. He has however refused to say which of the presidential candidates is in the lead. This is to avoid creating confusion as it is only the Electoral Commision who can declare the winner.
