Srinagar, October 18(Scoop News)-Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) on Friday announced the results of combined competitive examination (preliminary KAS test) for the year 2013.
According to JKPSC officials, out of 20,236 candidates who had appeared in the written test, 2477 candidates were declared successful.
For the test out of 450 points, the cut of mark was fixed at 288.78 points.
Out of 2477 successful candidates which included 2033 males and 444 females, 1514 were from Jammu region and remaining 963 belonged to Kashmir province, the officials added.
The district wise breakup, they pointed out was 459 candidates who qualified the test belonged to Jammu district followed by 214 aspirants from Doda district in Jammu region.
In Kashmir valley, 201 successful candidates were from Anantnag district followed by 139 from Srinagar district.
