Srinagar/Jammu, July 2 (Scoop News) –As many as 11209 Shri Amarnath Ji Yatris belonging to various parts of the country today left for darshan of holy cave from traditional route Nunwan-Pahalgam and Baltal-Sonamarg. The Yatris include 538 females and 99 children.
Meanwhile, 6511 yatris left for the Amarnath yatra today from
Deputy Chief Minister, Tara Chand and Advisor to Chief Minister Mubrak Gul who were camping at Phalagam were today joined by Minister for Technical Education, Youth Services & Sports, Prof. R. S. Chib, Minister for Revenue and rehabilitation, Raman Bhalla. They reviewed the arrangements put in place for the Amarnath yatris.
They interacted with the yatris who told them they were satisfied with the arrangements.
The Ministerial team headed by Deputy Chief Minister then visited to Baltal and took stock of the arrangement and facilities provided by the Government for the Yatris. They interacted with the yatris and found that most of yatris were extremely satisfied with the arrangements made by the Government.
The Ministers also reviewed the medical facilities being provided to the yatris in both base camps.
