3 Die, 2 Injured in road mishaps

 

Srinagar, June 12 (Scoop News)-Three persons died and two others were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir Valley.

A Tanker bearing registration number JK02R/0975 turned turtle and fell into a deep gorge in between India Gate and Captain Mode on Zojila in the jurisdiction of police station Sonamarg, resulting in injuries to the driver Ashok Kumar son of Dathu Ram resident of Reasi. The injured succumbed to his injuries on way to hospital. A case has been registered in this regard.

A Truck bearing registration number JK02AA/7904 hit and injured a lady Maryama Begum, wife of Mohammad Ayoub Shah resident of Dobiwan Magam at Main Chowk, Magam, Budgam, in the jurisdiction of police station Magam. The injured was shifted to SKIMS, Soura, Srinagar for treatment, where she succumbed her injuries. A case has been registered in this regard.

          A Maruti Car bearing registration number JK03/4674 driven by Mohammad Yousuf Dar son of Ghulam Rasool resident of Wanpora rammed into a wall at Qaimoh, Kulgam, in the jurisdiction of police station Kulgam, resulting in injuries to the driver. The injured succumbed to his injuries at District Hospital, Anantnag. A case has been registered in this regard.

            A Truck bearing registration number JK03/0221 hit and injured a lady Rubeena Akhter wife of Mushtaq Ahmad Hajam resident of Ichgam at Ichgam, Budgam, in the jurisdiction of police station Budgam. The injured was shifted to SKIMS, Soura, Srinagar for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.

          An unidentified Tipper hit and injured a pedestrian Ghulam Mohammad Dar on of Ghulam Ahmad resident of Beerwah, Khag, Budgam at Magamal Bagh, Srinagar in the jurisdiction of police station Sheergari. The injured has been shifted to hospital for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.         

 

 

House damaged in fire

 

12: Due to leakage of LPG gas, fire broke out in the residential house of Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din Ahanger son of Abdul Khaliq resident of Kachloo, Qazipora, Handwara, in the jurisdiction of police station Kalgund, resulting in the house got damaged. However, no loss of life or injury was reported in this incident.
