3 injured by blasting explosive.
CHITRAL: As well as three persons were badly injured when their rival group through explosive material on them at Kaisu village some 35 KM from here. According to SHO police station Drsoh there was a land dispute between two rival groups at Kaisu village since long. When one group tried to enter in disputed land their rival group attacked on them and through explosive material on then as a result it were blown up with blasting and injured three persons. Those who were injured in this incidence were identified as Islam Shah son of Mubarak Shah former Forest Range Officer, Nasiruddin former Union Council Naib Nazim and Habirur Rehman residents of Kaisu. Drosh police lodged FIR and registered a case under Pakistan Panel Code 324, ¾ Explosive (X) Act, 6/7 Anti Terrorism Act (ATA) against Shaheen Shah son of Buzurg Shah, Tasdiq Hussain Shah son of Shaheen Shah and nephew of Shaheen Shah and started further investigations.
PEF hailed Provincial Minister for increasing of Fire Wood Allowance.
CHITRAL: Provincial Minister for population welfare Saleem Khan hailed for increasing of Firewood and Un-attractive Areas Allowances (UAA) for employees of Chitral. British government has approved 12 Paisa (2 Ana) per mound for firewood in 1942 which was granting until 1974. But former Prime Minister of Pakistan Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto increased this amount from 2 Ana to 4 rupees per mound for firewood. And this allowance was continue for decades although so many organizations and associations tried for its increasing but they badly failed to do so. Hence on the arrival of Chief Minister Amir Haider khan Hoti to Chitral provincial minister for Population welfare Saleem Khan demanded for increasing these allowances in his welcome address. Chief Minister announced for increasing fire wood allowance according to prevailing market rates. Ahmad Faraz Hamraz Joint Secretary of Peoples Employees Federation (PEF) highly appreciated this step of provincial minister Saleem Khan who fulfilled long awaited demand of government employees of the district. He also thanked to provincial Chief Minister for approval of increasing these allowances for government employees.
