36 Security Force officers and men killed in Helicopter Crash

36 officers and men of Pakistan Army martyred in helicopter crash over Orakzai tribal agency area were buried in their respective areas on Sunday. ‘Militants have claimed that helicopter was hit from the ground by them in Orakzai agency,’ media reports.

 

Two nabbed cousins were released without ransom in Metha Khan Area of Kohat on Saturday. Tribesman Saadulah Afridi resident of Sheraki Dara Adam Khel along with four other persons and his cousin Zahid Parvez  in vehicle #  CK-9271 was heading towards Ali Zai from Muhammad Zai when in Metha Khan area both cousins were nabbed. FIR against abductors was registered in Chowni police station Kohat, Kohat police had arrested driver of their van Mehman Ali resident of Khadizai, and had started grand operation against abductors in Metha Khel, upon intervention of local elders of Metha Khel, and abductors had released the abducted cousins without ransom.

 

‘WAPDA Grid Station Pindi road Kohat superintendent and other technicians were came under attack of militants near Tull on Sunday, they went to Tull for repair of WAPDA installations on their way back near Tull militants had opened fire at them, and have snatched their official vehicle, WAPDA superintendent and his staff had arrived back safely to Kohat,’ Mr. Noman retired superintendent of WAPDA has said.

 

‘Buildings in Paracha Town were rocked with explosion around 10:59 pm on Sunday, source of explosion is not known yet,’ residents of the area have said.
