3D is the latest craze these days. Before the highly acclaimed AVATAR by James Cameron there were only few 3D movies on the show. But it wasn’t until AVATAR came along that people started taking interest in 3D movie making. Now, almost every movie is made on 3D. Clash of titans has followed the lead and so did many others. James Cameron even banged on the news saying he’s very much serious about remaking his own epic movie Titanic into 3D. One has to worry if the ship’s going to drown crashing into an iceberg or the audiences’ faces.
Some people love 3D, some people don’t. My friend got shocked when he saw one of Pandora’s monster birds almost snap his head and go. He actually ducked his head in fright, only then realized it’s because of the glasses. Personally, I do like 3D pictures but then again there’s no harm in going back to just plain movie screening. That also has its own type of fun watching. But by the new coming of 3D televisions even television watching would become a life like experience.
Well, 3D still rocks among many, perhaps most. I say this is a new era in film entertainment, something I’d like to call the 3D era.
